Tom Brady's problems with Gisele Bündchen: 'Adversities test you.'
Tom Brady spoke about how “adversities” have challenged him amid ongoing marital woes with Gisele Bündchen.
“If you look at a loser mentality, you do quit when it gets hard, you do quit when things don’t go your way, and I think the beautiful part about life is the adversities challenge you to figure out who you really are,” the NFL star said on Monday’s episode of his SiriusXM podcast “Let’s Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray.”
The Buccaneers quarterback, 45, explained that “adversities challenge you to dig deep” and to work with people to “try and get the problem solved.”
“Everyone can be there during the parades, everyone can be there when they’re telling you how great you are,” he continued.
“[But] who you are when things aren’t great, who you are when things don’t go your way when you face adversity, who are the people who stand by you? That’s what adversities really challenge you to figure out.”

Brady added that off the field, he has a “lot of great support” and “a lot of great family and friends that are really encouraging” despite his recent woes with his estranged wife and recent losses with the Bucs.
“You’re challenged mentally, physically and emotionally, that’s what sports are about – that’s what life’s about and how you overcome it,” he added. “Do you place blame or how do you accept responsibility?”
The seven-time Super Bowl champion emphasized that he has “never quit on anything” in his life, and he’s “always tried as hard as I’ve could” to overcome adversities.
“Everything is challenging and everything is evolving, and you deal with the circumstances as they are,” Brady said. “You deal with them with the right character, with the right values, with the right quality people and personalities that enable you to be successful.”
Brady also addressed rumors that he’s headed toward retirement again, reassuring fans there’s “no immediate retirement” in his future.
His decision to un-retire from the NFL is reportedly a big reason for why Bündchen, 42, called it quits.
The supermodel and her athlete hubby have both recently been spotted sans wedding rings shortly after Page Six reported that the two have hired divorce attorneys.
The former couple – who have also moved into separate homes – have been on rocky terms ever since they got into a fight over Brady’s decision to return to the NFL despite announcing his retirement.

“I never actually thought this argument would be the end of them, but it looks like it is,” a source previously told Page Six.
“I don’t think there will be any coming back now.”
The duo tied the knot in February 2009 and share two kids: Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9.
Brady also continues to co-parent 15-year-old son Jack, whom he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan.
